Puppy Beaters at HB Dog Park

I have a puppy.  He is about 8 months old now.  He loves to run and play.  We have been to a few dog parks in the Orange County, CA area and there is one that stands out.  I call it the puppy beater dog park.  It is Huntington Beach Dog Park in Huntington Beach, CA.
There are people at this dog park who beat puppys and hide behind the idea that their dog is being attacked.  I even pointed out clearly my dog was "LICKING" her dog and she continued to beat my puppy and scream at me to "BRING IT ON BITCH".
Signs of a puppy beater:
1. brings the dog into a dog park and begains to scream at all dogs that come up to the dog.
2. continues to scream and yell
3. will not allow you to get to your dog to leave because this is not a good environment for your puppy
4. uses their leash to beat your puppy without regard
5. feels that this is their dog park and make up rules to suit themselves

So what are some of the rules of a dog park:
1. DO NOT bring food, especially dog treats into a dog park
2. If you do not want your dog around other dogs, weather you "LIKE or DO NOT LIKE" the dog is irrelevant, you should not bring the dog into the dog park
3. Do not hit or beat other peoples dogs
4. As much as you go to a dog park it is not your park
5. Some dogs play rough but they are playing and if your dog (such as my puppy can not play with adult dogs because they play too rough) you should REMOVE YOUR DOG and yourself.
6. Children should not be allowed to run around a dog park especially with dog treats.  It is for dogs to run and play not your children.

Like I said Huntington Beach Dog Park as a very high rate of puppy beaters.  Be aware and if you see the signs you may want to go for the sake of your puppy and their well being.   It is not worth your puppy growing up to fear and hate people because of the "Puppy Beaters" that are present at this park.
